What I am planning to do for my midterm is to begin to work on my website vivianaespinosa.com. Where I have links to my professional portfolio, resume and everything I have done for classes and outside of them.
Most of this work will be linked from my home page, and some of the visual attributes will be carried throughout the rest of the site.
I first need to start with the introduction of my site (index page):
The home page will display a small animation, which will include some of the elements we have seen in Flash. A good start is the initial question mark (which will be replaced by my logo), which will be located in the middle of the screen with a permanent animation that will look like it is “breathing” (shape tween). When people click on it (onMouseDown), it would open a new set of animation, a line that emanates horizontally from the logo (shape tween). Meanwhile in the background of the whole page, there also would be an permanent on-going animation of images appearing and disappearing randomly throughout the page
Then after people click on the interrogation sign (scope), It will blow up and morph into a word ---maybe Welcome?--, and then the word will move up on the page, until it hits a horizontal line that was located above the interrogation sign. When the word “Welcome” hits this line, it will then “spit” out a series of boxes with links to my page, which will slowly begin to move towards the middle – bottom third half of the page.
The links will have rollovers to new graphics once people click on their selection. The set of links will be placed horizontally in the page, and will slowly begin to move to the top of the page if people do not click on anything.
Once people clicks on something, it will give way to the content of the selected page right under the links. The content of the page will be placed neatly as a dynamic text fields with rolling arrows and with multiple lines
I would also like to add a small game at the bottom of each page, and rolling text with an updatable link to content (I will do this with processing in some instances).
Also, I would like to work on an interactive map to my home, the map will be an image with specific time points where if people click on a specific route, they will be able to find the closest public transportation route to get there.
